General waiver
I hereby release and hold harmless His Promises, LLC, it’s owners, employees, instructors, guest instructors and volunteers from any and all claims, causes of action, suits or liability, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of, or in connection with, any loss, personal injury, or other damage that I may incur or suffer by reason or as a result of my enrollment or participation in classes, events, and private lessons with His Promises, LLC. I certify that students listed above are in good health and capable of participation in all activities and classes. In an emergency, I authorize His Promises, LLC to take such temporary measures as His Promises, LLC deems appropriate. I hereby give permission to His Promises, LLC to take photographs and/or videos of students listed above that will become permanent/sole property of His Promises, LLC. I consent to the use of such materials for promotional purposes by His Promises, LLC. I agree to pay my account in full when due. I also agree to pay any and all fees associated with the collection of any outstanding balances on my account. I understand that all registration payments are nonrefundable and non-transferable. I understand that there are no credits or refunds given for missed classes. I understand that disruptive behavior (rude comments towards students, parents and His Promises, LLC instructors, physical contact with other students, the lack of discipline during class, etc.) may require the instructor to dismiss a student from class. I agree to abide by all His Promises, LLC policies and will direct any comments or suggestions directly to the owner.
Policies & Procedures
Class Registration & Payments
Classes fill up on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration fees and registration forms are required before classes begin. Registration deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment is due by the first week of classes. We accept cash, checks, and credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, & Discover). Any check that is returned or card payment that is declined is subject to a $25 service fee from His Promises.
Missed Classes/Refunds
No refunds will be given for missed classes. In the event that your child misses their regularly scheduled class, please contact the studio by email to let their instructor know they will not be there. In the case that your student chooses to withdraw from a class or event, please notify the studio by email to let them know. The Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any classes due to lack of interest or conflict of schedule. If a class is cancelled, then a refund will be given for paid classes or applied to another class taken.
Attendance Guidelines
For the health and safety of all participants, we ask that only those who are registered for classes are allowed within the studio during the duration of the class. Parents/Guardians are allowed inside the studio for drop off before the class begins and pick up at the end of scheduled class time. Artists are expected to arrive for class on time and ready to participate.
Class Policies
All artists are expected to behave appropriately and kindly toward all other artists, instructors, and materials being used in class. Any disruptive behavior including rude comments toward anyone, destruction of His Promises materials or property, physical contact with other students, and lack of discipline during class may require the instructor to dismiss a student from class.
Clothing
We will be painting, drawing, sculpting and using really messy medium during our classes and events, and we encourage our students to take chances when creating art. The Studio provides aprons for all students but it is not mandatory. Children learn better when they feel comfortable to move and explore, so we recommend students to wear comfy play clothes and shoes that can get a bit (or a lot) of paint on it!
Special Dates/Holidays
His Promises, LLC will follow Stokes County Schools Holiday calendar and special breaks.
No classes on Labor Day, Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving week, Christmas and New Years weeks, Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, and Spring Break week.
Sickness
At His Promises, we share art supplies and creativity, and we would prefer to keep all germs away. In consideration for other kids and the staff, please refrain from sending your child to the studio when they are not feeling well. We reserve the right to restrict admission or send a child home, when that child is ill or risks the health or well-being of other children and staff members.
Allergies
At His Promises, we strive to provide a safe environment for all students. Parents/Guardians are responsible for informing the studio of any allergies or any medical conditions on the Registration Form, and promptly updating us if there are any changes to that.
Emergency Contact Information
It is the sole responsibility of the Parent/Guardian to provide the Studio with current contact information for purposes of medical or non-medical emergencies, notifying us of any change in mailing address, telephone number, email address, medical information, authorized caregivers, and emergency contact information.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, please check online at the studio website (www.hispromisesartstudio.com) and all His Promises social media pages for updates on the status of the studio. All classes missed due to inclement weather will be made up if possible at a later date and will be communicated to all artists by the instructor.
His Promises policies are subject to change without notice.
